Into the Wild

Published on

A drizzly morning at the Powai pickup destination and there's the 'Biroba Travels' bus. Although I'm not a full-fledged blogger, I was going with my office colleagues on a bus full of bloggers. The moment there's such people in the house, you know it's a 'Camera Kya Tera' shit going on in a chilled kind of vibes.

Gautam Villa, Sahyadri ranges, Malshej ghats, Singh Farm call it what you want, you have to show up to unravel this green marvel. After 2 hours of less traffucked moments, the bus reached the spot with some rain showers and a plethora of mountains to welcome you like a scenic backdrop. As a matter of fact, during the monsoon, in every 10-15mins you can see the rain come towards you like a dog coming back after fetching something.

It was basically a blogger's meet hosted by the farmhouse. There are a bunch of week detoxing amenities in the neighborhood of this wilderness.

The first thing we did is sat beside the running rivers of Malshej contemplating the weird shape of the 2 mountains, we saw at the time of entrance. They were like 2 Nachos eagerly waiting for someone to have a bite on.

After the river and nachos stint, it was time for a BBQ and a night with some awkward introductions/stories in front of these friendly bloggers. The next day turned out to be much more epic, with clouds full of hilly view and a cup of 'Friends Chai Peelo' sessions in the morning after waking up.

The weekend ended with a trek to the Panchkundi waterfalls. Although it was just the first part of the big descent, it was worth it with a high-speed waterfall, in the end, falling on your head performing a nature's baptism. If you are from Mumbai and want to dissipate from these usual 9 to 5's, you just have to trigger yourself 135kms away. And believe me, this Singapur needs a visa that'll only check the wanderlust levels of your mind.
